HomeEvents"Art and Faith" an Itinerary for Priests and Seminarians

On the occasion of the "Year for Priests" (19 June 2009 - 11 June 2010) the Management of the Vatican Museums has organized exclusive Guided Tours of the Vatican Museums, Vatican Gardens and St. Peter's Basilica for Priests and Seminarians throughout the world.

These guided tours are offered free of charge. The Management of the Museums guarantee the entrance ticket, while the guide service is offered by the Congregation of the Missionaries of Divine Revelation.

Every week three guided tours are available for groups to a maximum of 25/30 persons, that is priests and seminarians only. Tours are conducted in Italian, English and Spanish.

To confirm the reservation, a reservation code will be communicated by the operator. For reservations made by fax or e-mail, the reservation code will be sent by fax or e-mail.


How does the tour take place?

The tour meeting point is located at the "Guided Tours" desk, (Visite Guidate) located in the entrance hall of the Vatican Museums. The group is required to present the reservation code and the "celebret" or other document stating the status of priest or seminarian.
